Hungarian Open Dance Championship

Dear Dancer,

Hereby we would like to invite you to our next

Hungarian Open International Dance competition event

which is taking place at Hotel Hilton in Budapest, in Hungary on the 10-11th of Aug, 2024.

As always we will have ProAm/Amateur and Dance Sport competitions as well, this time we host our contestants and guests in the Royal Castle area: overlooking the River Danube and Hungarian Parliament, the 16th Century-style hotel sits next to the iconic Fisherman’s Bastion and Matthias Church. Our event is located in the Buda Castle District, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Explore the ancient streets, 15 minutes from the city center!

Besides our usual traditional dance competition set-up with ProAm and Dance Sport dances for Professionals and Amateurs in solo, duo, couples, show, teams/formations we close Saturday with a great Hungarian Open Evening Party with a gala dinner where we guarantee fabolous shows and a great entertainment with social dancing together till night. 

This time we are also introducing a NEW championship format in Hungary based on our former experiences with our dancers: The HUNGARIAN OPEN LATIN SINGLE DANCE CHAMPIONSHIP where participants will compete all ages/all levels in ONE latin dance only - of course this is available for all 5 international latin dances and all dancers can go for all as well - no limitations. It means that not only the normal 5-dance championship can be chosen but in addition you can also compete in championship for one latin dance as well and this at an intro price of EUR 50!

For accommodation we can help you at info@danza.hu - in case any transfer to the hotel needed we will seek to assist you on.  

When arriving before competition we can offer you an appointed place to practice at our Danza dance school for free.
